Scientific Landscape in the South Caucasus: A Comparative Analysis of Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Georgia (2012–2024), Yervant Terzian Armenian National Science and Education Fund (ANSEF)
This project aims to provide a comprehensive comparative analysis of the scientific output, development trends, and policy impacts across the three South Caucasus republics for the period 2012-2024. Using data from Web of Science, the study will examine publication dynamics, citation impact, international collaboration patterns, and scientific innovation over the past twelve years. Our research will not only fill a critical gap in the understanding of the region’s evolving scientific landscape but also offer practical recommendations for strengthening Armenia’s research system and enhancing its integration into the global scientific community.
