Today it is nearly impossible to conduct high-quality research and gain competitive results in science by fencing off from the international scientific community. From this point of view one of the main challenges for the Armenian scientific community is the issue of internationalization. One of the ways to achieve this goal is by joining the Open science movement (OSM) which could not only help to boost the scientific collaboration with foregn peers but also to increase the visibility of scientific activities and output.
To address these issues the Center for Scientific Information Analysis and Monitoring of IIAP NAS RA has organized the workshop "Internationalization of Armenian Science: Challenges and Solutions" within the frames of CSIT 2021 international conference.
During the workshop the speakers presented about the opportunities and the state of art of the OSM in Europe and focused on the European Open Science Cloud. The other topics covered the involvement of Armenia in OSM and the issue of internationalization of Armenian science.
